Dearborn has developed methods to manufacture these types of parts in many alloys, depending on the application.
To create these thin-walled parts, Dearborn produces ultra-concentric tube hollows in the .003 TIR, ID to OD range. These precision tubes can then be drawn into very small precision tubing to be used for various applications, including stent tubing, cannulated tubes, cochlear implant tubing, etc.
Dearborn works directly with OEM subcontractors to test and develop various types of materials which ultimately could become medical hardware. These materials include the following:
MP35N | Nitinol® |
Elgiloy® | Stainless Steel – HT9, 304, 410, 465, 630, 17-4 PH |
Titanium |
